Custom Decorators for Endpoints

I am not exactly sure how to get custom NestJS decorators such as Guards to work. I followed the README and it doesn't seem to annotate the base controller or endpoints with the decorator. Looked through the code as well and I can't see where this gets parsed and put in.

Let me know if I am doing something wrong.
