Hi, the process can be found in the description of the PR which adds support for the OTA client here #10946 (comment)

I will mark this as documentation. After Zigbee API is added, I can add more pages to docs with tutorials on how to do this.

About Z2M, I am not going to develop or test with that. I will use ZHA only. I am keeping this part for cummunity to investigate.
What I can say is, that when it works with ZHA, it should also work Z2M and there is nothing to be fixed or added to the Zigbee library. It will be only on the Z2M side.
