I will keep your work as an open Pull Request (not merged). I may interact here latter, for instance for asking question or making remarks.
For instance (it's a detail because I am not merging), you have overwritten the readme file in your PR, changing it's purpose. If I was to accept the PR, I would ask you to restaure this file before.

The html reporting is interesting. How did you generate this file (what tool) ?

No problem for the README file, I understand why you aren't merging. I would be pleased to answer your questions. My report is a knit html of a rmarkdown file.

Interesting ! Maybe you could just put the md and image files in your repo and trigger an automatic build by knit using Travis... But this is not the test ;-) just interested by publication methods.

We use mkdocs and a readthedocs template to build automatically our documentation. See for instance https://github.com/ARTbio/Metavisitor-manual
