dotnet sdk check should also update

This command really needs to be updated to include an update option. Your own bing AI attempts to give you non existent command attempting to update an out of date sdk. At the very least an option to download the newest package. You already update the templates, why not a self update option? Keep up the great work!

This is a feature request rather than a documentation issue, so I'm transferring it to the sdk repository.

This request is currently tracked here: #14962 It has been an item we've gone through with each planning process and keep not quite having enough capacity or data to justify but we'll continue to look into our options here. At a minimum, we want to explore if the CLI can acquire/update the SDK and runtimes even if revamping the acquisition experience all up ends up being too expensive.
