I am currently utilizing the Kubuntu 24.04 operating system (which is Ubuntu with the KDE desktop environment). My system is equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics card featuring 12 GB of VRAM and 32 GB of RAM. Could someone provide me with straightforward and clear instructions on how to install Comfy UI on my computer, as well as guidance on creating a launcher for it? I would greatly appreciate it. I discovered a method to install Comfy UI on Kubuntu 24.04 and set up a launcher.

You need to adjust the paths to fit your PC.

git clone https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI.git /media/themis/ComfySSD/ComfyUI

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /media/themis/ComfySSD/ComfyUI

cd /media/themis/ComfySSD/ComfyUI
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install --upgrade pip wheel
pip install -r requirements.txt

mkdir -p /media/themis/ComfySSD/ComfyUI/models/{checkpoints,vae,clip,upscale_models,controlnet}

wget -O /media/themis/ComfySSD/ComfyUI/models/checkpoints/v1-5-pruned-emaonly.safetensors
https://huggingface.co/runwayml/stable-diffusion-v1-5/resolve/main/v1-5-pruned-emaonly.safetensors

Now for the launcher:
