I've been using it for two years with no problems so far |
I can still create new A1.Flex and E2.1.Micro instances. Started on 02.2022 Make sure that you are actively using the machines |
Using Oracle Cloud Always Free, ARM Server. |
@tsgoff I've been working there daily for 3 months and then, for no reason, without any notice my account was terminated. The internet is full of people who are complaining about this. I basically lost my entire work there. I had no choice to start paying or such, which is unbelievable.. |
Yes, we'll add a note about sudden terminations without explanation. Thanks to all contributors for this important discussion. |
Obviously not what the OP talks about. OCI has also terminated my account and all its affiliated resources without any way to reclaim my data. The twist is: I was a paying customer as well as using an Always Free ARM VM for hosting a small discord bot which never exceeded free tier limits. |
I've been too until they suspended the account and terminated the tennant out of the blue about a week ago. Support could not tell me why. I've been running no game servers or anything like that but a simple Timezone conversion tool for friends. |
lmao, i even break their ToS and nothing happens |
The Always Free accounts are simple terminated without notice or a way to recover the data. They don't provide any reason for this and you cannot use your account even for paid products.
