Describe the Bug

As shown in the image, there are a few confusing things:

• The first errors about the binding type refer to the beginning of the template. Is it expected?
• The misuse of the properties property triggers a plethora of false errors

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use an array with a string as a value for the properties property

Expected Behavior

The returned errors should be relevant to what's wrong

@barmac I'm using this ticket just for convenience, but I'm keen to open a FR if needed;

It appears that schema "warnings" are not returned by the validator. Although we could argue that they are not "blocking errors" per se, it would still be useful to have them listed in the UI (e.g., on the WM).

What do you think about that?

Yes, I think we could have a separate warnings field like we have in the core libraries (e.g. bpmn-js importXML warnings). Please open a feature request.
