Is it a possible to use a public S3 bucket via the SDK

Given some public S3 bucket URL , is it possible to use the SDK with that? Naively, It doesnt not seem to work by using a url like here

 let object = s3_client
       .get_object()
       .bucket(<url>)
       .key(key)
       .send()
       .await?;

TIL that s3 buckets share a global namespace. You can literally just use the name if its public from any account.
