Q4 2025 Events Resourcing Proposal

Overview

This proposal requests funding for Akash events scheduled in Q4 2025, as outlined in the Akash Events 2025 GitHub discussion: https://github.com/orgs/akash-network/discussions/748. Overclock Labs is seeking a total budget of $746,485.00 to support these activities. The details for a Tier-1 event, the largest category of Akash events, are provided below.

Tier-1 Event Outline

Total budget per Tier-1 event: estimated at $300,000

Note: Token2049 carries a higher budget due to the significant costs associated with hosting an international conference. In contrast, the San Francisco and San Diego conferences are expected to be substantially less expensive as they are domestic events.

Key Inclusions

Tier-1 events represent the highest scale of Akash’s community and industry engagement. Each event will include:

• Team participation: Attendance for up to 7 core team members and community representatives.
• Premium sponsorships: The largest sponsorship allocation, ensuring visibility through multiple speaking slots and a custom booth (when appropriate).
  Akash-hosted side event: A dedicated gathering for 150-300 attendees, providing a focused platform for community building and partner engagement.
