Hi, hiro

I am a new user to WISE. I met some problems when deploying WISE running docker-compose up. Could you let me know how to fix these? Thanks a lot!

The error messages were as follows:

npm ERR! path /app/package.json

wise-client exited with code 254

No plugin found for prefix 'spring-boot' in the current project and in the plugin groups [org.apache.maven.plugins, org.codehaus.mojo] available from the repositories [local (/root/.m2/repository), central (https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2)] -> [Help 1]

Hi Coven,

Sorry to hear that you're seeing issues. What's is your system setup? Did you allocate enough RAM to Docker per instructions?

Can you post a bit more from the offending stacktrace?

My system is CentOS 7.9, RAM 4GB, disk space 60GB. The detailed offending stacktrace is as follows:

Do you have another machine with more RAM? We haven't tested it on Linux machines. We only know that it works on Windows and Mac.

Also, you'll need to allocate at least 5GB of RAM to Docker. You can do that through Docker's Preferences -> Resources.

I'm trying to develop WISE-Client using Docker. Thanks to your detailed tutorials, I have successfully completed the website deployment. Our research object is Chinese students, so we need to Chineseize the website. Is there any relevant method to support it? I did not find it in the tutorial. Thanks a lot!

Hi,

In WISE-Client directory, run npm run build-prod. It will take a while to run, but when it's done, it will output the website into different languages inside the WISE-Client/dist folder. Copy over the Chinese folder (zh-Hans for simplified, zh-Hant for traditional) to where you want to host it.
