Issue with GSC Files

Yes hi, I dunno what I'm doing wrong. But I'm trying to open the gsc files from the game Ever Maiden. I'd really like to try and translate it to english. Especially since the group who were going to decided to drop it. But when I get the gsc file converted to a txt file, the text in it is whatever this is.

I dunno what to do. I checked dozens of the files and they're all like this. What's going on? Is it encrypted in some way and I just have no hope of translating it?
