Metro Report Issues

Some outstanding things on Metro report:

• Move options to the tiles (see New Html Metro styled report (Issue78) #94 (comment) for more info)
• Increase body font weight (it seems too thin currently making the report hard to read)
• Step result image is not lined up with step title (title wraps to a new line)

A once over before v4 is released would be great. @jason-roberts could you take a look?

Still not sure about moving options to tile, the reason is that currently there is a high level of association with the icon next to the checkbox and the icons throughout the test results. What kind of interaction do we want with the tiles, e.g. click to turn off and the tile goes grey, turn on and color comes back, or put checkbox inside tile (probably look yuk)? I personally think the current checkbox model is clear and usable.

The last two items seem like reasonable suggestions though :)

Seeing as this is a brand new report I think it is OK to create new associations. I agree that it is important that the icons in the test results correlate with the tiles, which I think is achieved by using the same colours for icons and tiles. I like your suggestion of toggling the tile between the coloured on state and a different colour off state. The MSDN site has metro boxes and use a dark purple on their hover state that might be quite good for the off state? Or perhaps grey is better, as you said?

One question though. In the #94 metro report image the Not Implemented tile and check box have different colour icons. Shouldn't they be the same colour?

I personally like the tiles as buttons better than extra checkboxes. Checkboxes feel a bit dated and also disconnected from the rest of the report to be honest. Just my personal preference & happy to keep it as is if others are happy with it.

Cool, sounds like a plan :)

I'll make the tile go grey when not active and correct the tile-to-icon color mapping as well for the not implemented.
