How to extract subtitle images from .sub/.idx files using SubtitleEdit in the Terminal ... ?

Hi there,

Look at the Export -> Images with time codes in file name… feature in the GUI in the screenshot above.

I’m trying to exactly automate this from the terminal (Windows PowerShell or CMD) and haven’t been able to find the exact /convert parameters that reproduce the same output style.

Could you please share one or more complete example commands? For instance:

• On Windows PowerShell
• On Windows CMD

…that extract all frames from a .sub/.idx pair into a folder, with no OCR, using the same naming pattern and styling as the GUI option.

The .sub file language in the screenshot is: Persian+English (The Persian language is written from right to left (RTL))
Download the persian subtitle for testing purposes (expires 6 days from now)
