Habit & Reward

🥇 The Reward feature is designed to reward task completion. You can access this feature starting from Task-Genius version 8.4.0. When you click a task to mark it as complete, a reward modal will be opened, suggesting you can take a break for a cup of tea or play a short game.

This is actually a preliminary feature for an upcoming new function called Habit. In my view, a Habit is a special type of task. A large portion of your daily tasks originate from certain habits. Besides being part of your daily workflow, this could also include your regular exercise plan or the habit of updating your blog periodically.

Furthermore, when sticking to a particular task, beyond easily viewing the activity log (or completion record), another crucial element is receiving some unexpected surprises that provide the motivation to keep going. Therefore, Reward and Habit are interconnected features.
