Is KAI-Scheduler/Kueue compatible with HAMi?

Hi everyone,

I am looking into the HAMi project and especially the architecture where HAMi can fit.

We are evaluating different schedulers: (https://github.com/NVIDIA/KAI-Scheduler, https://kueue.sigs.k8s.io/) and I'm trying to understand if they overlap with HAMi.

Could anyone help me in this comparison?

KAi-scheduler is a schedule project, it does not contain resource control inside container

we are working with KAI-scheduler team to contribute on that part, you can see the issue here, NVIDIA/KAI-Scheduler#60

the current plan is to create a separate repository call 'HAMi for KAi' which can enable device memory control inside container
