I'm getting an error when trying to switch branches using the "recent branch" option.

This happens consistently when I try to checkout a branch from the "recent branch" list. Manually checking out a branch (e.g. via git checkout <branch> or normal navigation) works, but selecting it from "recent branch" triggers the error above.
