What apps have you developed using Extractor Data? Lets highlight them!

As I'm sitting here removing the links to the website code that exist in this repository, I was thinking it would probably be more useful to instead link to people who have created other apps designed to take in the JSON Data the tool generates!

Drop your links in this thread, with a description of what your tool does, or submit a pull request to add to the Readme file, and lets create a network of examples using this project!

I haven't made this public yet because it is still in the early stages and I have a lot more plans for it before I am ready to start receiving a bunch of feedback. Lol but here is what I have been working on...

I don't plan on changing that URL, there is just nothing on my site linking to it yet.

It currently is just a way to pull in all your champs into my site and search through them by name using a search box. They are all sorted as close as I can get them to the order they are in-game with icons to identify which champs are in storage and which are ready to be ranked up with everything looking very similar to how it does in-game.

By the way, this is the project I was referring to when I mentioned that I think I could get the champs to be sorted in the same order they are sorted in-game if each champions power is able to be extracted from the game. Without that, the current sort order is as close as I can get.

The first thing I plan to add is toggles that allow you to easily filter your champs for stuff like "Only show champs ready to rank up", "Show Duplicates", "Show Triplicates" as well as the obvious stuff like Faction, Rarity, Affinity, Level, Grade, & Awaken Level.

Then I plan to figure out a way to allow users to easily share their entire roster with whichever filters they want toggled on. I am hoping to figure out a way to pull this off with a shareable URL of some sort that would somehow preserve the state and localStorage data. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it 🤣. A simpler option that I can already do with a this chrome extension is take a screenshot of the entire page. But I don't want to require an extension and when I shared one of these screenshot with my Clan in Discord, I had to explain to them that they needed to click it and then click Open Original and then click the image the pops up in the browser to zoom in on it so you can see it clearly. So that is not ideal lol.

But now I am just rambling lol, I will leave it at that.

I found a bug on the website. It looks like there's no publicly available repo and thus I can't create an issue for it. I hope you don't mind posting it here instead:

If you visit https://raidchamps.com/mychamps/ with an empty localStorage (incognito will do) the react application will throw an exception at some point because item is empty:

Once you reload the page everything appears to be working fine. From what I've gathered you're doing the following:

1. retrieve the content of localStorage (and store it in item) // L25
2. check for empty localStorage // L121
3. fill with placeholder data if empty // L122
4. access hero data using item. // L124

Imho, the problem lies between step 3 and 4. While step 3 does successfully write the placeholder data to the storage, accessing it using item at this point will not work because it still holds the old content from step 1 instead of the placeholder data.

Thanks @zerfl, I was aware of this issue but I didn't think there was much I could do about it since HellHades Raid Optimizer has the same exact issue and everyone has gotten used to having to refresh their page whenever it only loads the white screen. His actually is worse because I get that white screen whenever I haven't used his optimizer in awhile whereas mine only has that issue the first time that you visit the page and it should not happen again afterward unless you clear out your browsers localStorage.

Thanks for your tips about where the problem lies, I will look into it further. Do you happen to also have a solution to the problem?

@zerfl I came up with a really simple solution to this problem. I just added a line of code to make the page automatically reload after setting the placeholder data. Thanks for bringing this up!

I am no expert in React but couldn't you just do this instead:

Thanks but I tried your code and it still requires the page to be reloaded. But I think my solution is all that is needed anyways.

Brago - Basic Raid Gear Observer. Recommends artifacts to sell and enchant.

Domain names are cheap 😜. Netlify makes it really easy to setup a custom domain name with their free plan, you just have to buy one from any domain registrar or from Netlify themselves.

Hello,
Actually working on a tool that will extract the data from your json.
It will try (with some parameters) to estimate a score for each artifacts.
Then it will extract these data to an Excel file.
The artifacts will be ordered like in the game.
Each line will give you an advice for the artifact (sell, keep, upgrade).
The advice isn't based on single artifact but based on all the artifacts you got.

The objective is to be able to quickly decide what to sell and to upgrade.

I still need to tune my scoring method, and create a config file for all the parameters.

@papedre that does sound cool! Can I talk you into putting it in with 'Brago'? That already has a UI that shows all the artifacts and possible reasons to sell, we could add a column with your algorithm's recco.

Sounds cool, I like that the advice will be based on all of our artifacts. That is huge! Will it also give advice that takes the set into account as well? I know certain sets are only good with specific stats, so that would be a big help as well.

Hi all, hope it's ok to post this here - just wanted to let folks know that thanks to some suggestions by @cmarabate I've made some major improvements to Brago - you can now use it to examine champions, not just artifacts. So e.g. you can say things like "show me champions with an unfilled accessory", "show me champions with dupes",or my personal favorite, "show me champions with gear that's >= 2 stars lower than they are:"
