Wow! I really like ICM. It's obvious that you have created, updated, and maintained this baby for many years. You must be proud of your creation. I found it, indirectly, while searching for "kill switch" for a VPN browser proxy extension. Ever noticed how many of these extensions are on the CWS? Important as they are to the security of a VPN, just a few of these extensions have built-in kill switches. See where I'm going with this?
Your ICM extension could easily be adapted to include the features of a kill switch, which basically monitors the VPN server's IP address. If that IP address changes to the ISP server's or any other server's IP address, the VPN connection is no longer secure. At that point the kill switch should either disconnect the user's Internet connection or reconnect to a safe, trusted website, such as, 185.199.108.153 (https://internetmon.org/).
