[ANNOUNCEMENT] New policy for pull requests

As of today we're now enforcing a new policy for all pull requests:

If your pull request has the status: needs revision label and you don't resolve it within 90 days, your pull request will be closed!
This is to prevent stale pull requests from clogging the open pull requests section, since there are a lot of them.

Important

Once you resolved any issues. Your pull request will be re-opened! It will not be closed permanently.

Additional clarification:

• The 90 days counter starts when notice is given for conflicts.
• Pull requests closed this way will be labelled as status: stale
• Closing as stale is not an outright rejection. You can update the PR and request that it be re-opened, or create a new pull request if that's easier.

Can a different contributor pull the PR, resolve the merge conflicts and then open a new PR?

They wouldn't receive credit for it, but it'd be a nice way for the original contributor to still have their changes implemented.
