Feature description

I think the title explains everything. IMAP has allows you to store notes, and I want it added.

Why do you want this feature?

Since even latest macOS/iOS supports them, I'm relying on it right now. So, looking forward to have IMAP notes here.

It can't be done because all Fossify apps still operate without internet permission.

If added, the app itself won't do synchronization there. DAVx⁵, etc., will do that.

Sure, but why? Even if the Fossify Notes app provides it, and requires a network permission, it's still open source! As long as the permission is only used when the user adds an account, I don't get how this can hurt.

There will be internet flavors for some Fossify apps in the future, but there is no timeline for that.

Open source does not guarantee privacy/security. Some users prefer that their app work completely offline.
