If you had the perfect tools catalog complete and ready, what would you use it for? How often would you refer back to it?

If there was a tools catalog, I'd watch for notifications when new items were added.

There is a new SaaS tool for measuring DevRel impact, I want to test it out.

I'd use the Tools Catalog to evaluate alternatives to a tool that wasn't meeting my needs within a particular category.

I'm using a spreadsheet to manage community champions, is there a CRM tool that would help me I should evaluate instead within the CRM category.

I'd use a Tools Catalog to find out what other DevRel practitioners think is best for solving a particular problem.

4 developer advocates recommended using GitHub Discussions instead of AnswerHub for community q&a; 3 recommended Discourse, and 3 recommended Vanilla Forums;

I would use the Tools catalog as a central place to direct people who ask for my recommendations on tooling

"What camera should I buy", "What software should I use to record a Podcast" etc etc

I would browse the Tools catalog to see if anything new has been added to the list that would help improve my setup.

I was unaware that an improved alternative to tool X has been released.
