Here you can find out how to do x or y.

Install

While I try to keep the installation processes as simple as possible it sometimes may get a bit more involved than just executing the setup/installer.

Windows CLI

The CLI version currently comes with two different installing wizards, one being a *.exe file, the other one using the MicroSoft's install wizard with an according *.msi file.

Both work just like any setup:

  1. Download one of the two installers
  2. Navigate to your download directory
  3. Double-click the [version-number].exe or [version-number].msi you downloaded
  4. Follow the instructions in the setup
  5. Click [Finish] when the setup is done
  6. DONE

If you're worried about the safety and privacy your device and data, you can check out Privacy & Security for further information about what data the Windows app gathers, which permissions it will ask for and how it uses both.

Android

The Android version currently comes as an *.apk file. Until the full version is ready to be offered through the official Play Store it is a tiny bit more involved than just hitting Install.

Step by step:

  1. Download the APK-File

You may need to allow "Installations from unknown sources" temporarily

  2. Open your devices file manager
  3. Navigate to your download directory
  4. Tap [version-number].apk
  5. Discard potential warnings
  6. Agree to potential virus-scan-prompts and let it scan
  7. Hit Install
  8. DONE

Please prohibit "installations from unknown sources" again now if you allowed it previously
