python binding project

We're using the python bindings pretty extensively for a couple new projects for FRR, and pretty regularly we have to add support for accessing the various libyang APIs (the API access is not provided by default, but rather has to be explicit enabled). As a result we are running into an issue with update frequency. I opened an issue in that repo (CESNET/libyang-python#155), but I want to ask here b/c I think the main project is more actively attended to. :) Could someone from CESNET please address the questions raised in that issue?

I cannot really help you, sorry. It as a deliberate decision to off-source the bindings because we could not manage maintaining so many projects. And we do not plan to start again anytime soon.

Oh I assumed since it's hosted in the CESNET repo, that it was your project.

Yeah, it is not, we have just created it so that it is all together and can be ideally maintained by the whole community, not just one person.
