Jakarta Data - would BeJUG be interested in 'adopting' a spec? #110
Description
Whilst checking out the jakarta data spec I found out they allow for JUGs to adopt the spec!
Here's a page with more info explaining it all but in essence the idea would be to promote the spec by discussing it during JUGs (perhaps a dedicated timeslot during some meetups?) etc...
In return JUGs get promoted, can participate in live coding sessions, ...
Not sure how appealing that looks? I'd happily get involved if so. (if only as an excuse to study something new ;-) )
