Describe the bug

OMI never charges to 100%—it always stops at 95% and does not go beyond that, even if left plugged in for an extended period.

To Reproduce

  1. Plug in OMI for charging.
  2. Monitor the battery percentage as it charges.
  3. Observe that charging stops at 95% and does not reach 100%.

Current behavior

  • Charging always stops at 95%, preventing a full charge.

Expected behavior

  • OMI should charge to 100% unless there's an intentional design limitation.

Additional context

  • This could be a firmware limitation, battery calibration issue, or intentional battery protection feature.
  • If it's intentional, it would be helpful to have documentation or an indicator explaining why it stops at 95%.

Would appreciate any insights on this! 🚀

@beastoin since you have Power Profiler Kit (#2130 (comment)), may I ask you to measure max battery voltage at the charged state?

Many devices intentionally stop charging at 95-98% to extend battery life. so I want to calibrate to show 100% in the app when it reach maximum level.

hey, lets close it via #2151 - this legit fix.

Many devices intentionally stop charging at 95-98% to extend battery life. So I belive this is the case, so I fix it in minor firmware update there
