Matrix OS 3.0 brings long-awaited Python application support, file system capabilities, and a super-enhanced Note App with powerful new musical features.

If you can't update the OS, or the OS won't boot. Please flash the bootloader update first (Matrix-Bootloader-Update-2025-9-25.uf2), then flash the OS.

Python REPL: Interactive Python shell for real-time coding and experimenting.

Matrix OS File System API: File system support for applications.

Micro SD Support: Load applications from Micro SD cards.

USB Mass Storage Mode: Access your SD card directly from your computer.

Note App V2: Complete rewrite with modern interface, new layouts, and expressive features.

Note App V2 - Control Bar: New bar with pitchbend, transpose, octave, swap layout, and more.

Note App V2 - Note Latch: Latch notes with a single toggle.

Note App V2 - Chord Mode: Perform chords using key combos.

Note App V2 - Arpeggiator: Advanced arpeggiator with multiple modes and configurations.

Note App V2 - Custom Scale: Build your own musical scales.

Note App V2 - Diatonic Scale: Play in-scale using modern diatonic options.
